GreenField NGV Beginnings
|
|
GreenField’s NGV roots are derived from the formation and merging of two Swiss industrial companies now nearly 200 years ago.
Sulzer was established in 1834. Today it is a publicly owned Swiss company with
subsidiaries throughout the world. Company shares are listed on the Swiss stock exchange.
Burckhardt was established in 1844 and in 1969 became a wholly owned subsidiary of Sulzer Brothers Ltd. In 1982 all piston compressor activities were merged into a single
business entity operating as Sulzer - Burckhardt Engineering Works Ltd.
The scope of Sulzer – Burckhardt’s business extended from marketing through design, engineering, manufacturing and installation to servicing and advice on operations
